Terms & Policies

We regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure that we are up to date with the latest legislation. You can find our most recent Terms & Conditions, details about your treatment session, information on how your personal data is handled (GDPR), and our cancellation policy here.

Cancellation Policy

24 Hours Notice Required

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This will allow time to allocate your appointment to another patient and make the necessary changes. We ask that you be mindful when cancelling appointments, as this may cause loss of revenue to the business.

If you do not attend your appointment or fail to give a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule, you will be charged a cancellation fee at the full cost of your session. Cancelled and rescheduled appointments with more than 24 hours notice will not incur a cancellation fee.

You’ll receive a reminder for each appointment via text and email two days in advance, giving you plenty of time to get in touch. If you need to cancel, you can do so by clicking the link in your confirmation email, or by contacting us through phone, text message, or email.

Privacy Policy

We take patients privacy and data handling very seriously. We have put together a privacy notice which explains when and why we collect personal information, how we use it, who we share it with and how we keep it secure. Patients should take the time to read this notice to understand how their personal data will be used and their rights regarding that data. To view our full privacy policy, please click here.

  • Please inform us before your appointment if you develop any Covid symptoms or test positive for covid.
  • You are not required to wear a mask unless you prefer to do so.
  • We will wear a mask during your appointment upon request.

Treatment Info

Before Treatment:

You’ll be asked to fill out a consultation form with personal details and sign a disclaimer to consent to treatment. Sessions will begin with an initial consultation to discuss your injury or complaint. We will conduct both subjective and objective assessments, which may include postural evaluation, joint range of motion assessments, movement screenings, special tests, strength and muscle testing, and biomechanics and gait analysis. This consultation is essential for us to understand your medical history, any previous injuries, your current injury or pain, your movement patterns, and how these issues impact your daily life. This information allows us to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have before your treatment session begins.

Treatment Sessions:

Each treatment session includes a comprehensive assessment based on your specific injury or complaint, as well as the nature and history of your symptoms. Treatment sessions may involve various modalities, such as Rehabilitation and Exercise Therapy, Sports & Remedial Massage, Soft Tissue Therapy, Stretching and Muscle Energy Techniques, Strapping and Taping, and Dry Needling (medical acupuncture.) After treatment, we will discuss pain management strategies and provide injury aftercare advice. Additionally, we will prescribe exercises, and if needed, an exercise plan to support your rehabilitation at home will be emailed to you.

What To Wear:

Please be assured that your comfort and dignity will be maintained at all times.

  • To conduct a thorough assessment and treatment, it’s likely that we’ll need to ask you to remove some clothing and it may be necessary to undress to your underwear. You are welcome to wear shorts for your comfort and dignity if preferred.
  • Please wear exercise attire or loose-fitting clothing to your appointment and ensure the injured or painful area can be easily accessed. For example, if you have issues with your hip or knee, please bring shorts.
  • If you have long hair, please tie it up for treatments involving your upper body, neck or shoulders.
  • For female patients, kindly refrain from wearing sports bras during upper body treatments, as they may restrict access and make treating your back and shoulders difficult.

What To Bring With You:

Please bring anything that may help with your diagnosis. For example, if you have had previous investigations, scans or x-rays, please bring a copy of your reports or consultancy letters if possible. Please also bring any items that may be relevant to a sports-related injury. For example, if you’re a runner with a running injury, please bring your trainers for us to assess.
